I already wrote about the importance of not working for the head pat, the gold star, or the validation from someone else that you're on the right track (Lesson #4: School lies to you).
With that in mind, I gotta confess that I am chuffed by the response I've had since I first outed my blog this week (a subtle update to my "About" info on Facebook & LinkedIn, in keeping with the spirit of our times).
I was listed on Alltop, the "online magazine rack" of the web yesterday. They say they list the "best sites and blogs", so that's pretty sweet. Also, it's owned by @mayall, Kathryn Henkens, and @GuyKawasaki (he of Apple/ delighting/ 1.4-million Twitter followers fame). So that's even sweeter.
But BEST OF ALL, I got this tweet tonight:
@krystynt I want to cry you have no idea how much I needed to read your blog. the older posts specifically.

And I'm not gonna lie, that's pretty awesome.
So thanks to the people who followed a trail of breadcrumbs (or social media links) and ended up here this week. It's nice.
